本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛It was Friday (Probably on Tuesday), March the … something. My Mom was in California ready to drive to Ottawa, Ontario. I was very happy!!!
It was the sunniest day ever! She didn’t take too many things because if she did, the car would be slower than a super slow turtle. She finally left California. My Mom was sad. She loved California.
First, my Mom went on the free way, It got hotter and hotter and hotter, and it got more sweaty she got. (The truth was that it was colder and colder)
Then she went to sunny Nevada and she got some gas. She went in a Casino and played a fun slot machine. First, she won some money, but then she lost some. Then she left Nevada.
After, my Mom went to Utah, it was very late when she got Utah, and the moon was gigantic (The huge moon was in Nevada, my Duoer just moved it to the neighbor state, ^_^), it was the most unbelievable thing she saw in her life!!! The moon was bigger than 4 times of her cars!! She was amazed! My mom was tired so she went to a hotel and paid money to stay in the hotel. She was very sleepy.
The next day she drove to Colorado and she saw a sign that said, “Welcome to Colorado”. She was happy that she got one step closer.
Wyoming was her next state. But I think I forgot about her adventure in Wyoming and Nebraska.
In Iowa, women are really good at sewing, men are perfect at wood things and they live together (It refer the Germany socialist community in the Amana, Iowa, more than 100 years ago). My mom bought a wooden Teddy bear that like a puzzle a little. It cost $6.75.
Then she drove to Illinois. It was getting late and her car was running out of gas but good thing that there was a gas station close by. She was very happy that she found one. She couldn’t find a hotel so she had to sleep in the car (Ahhhh? Did I? It must be Duoer’s imagination!).
When it’s morning, she drove to Indiana. She really wanted to see me so she drove really fast. She passed Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.
It was hard to drive there. (In Now York? Yes, it’s crazy!)
Then she was crossing the border into Canada. The guy let her past the border. Then she got to Ottawa!!!!!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------PS: My daughter finished it in her school lanuage class, I even didn't know that until she brought it back home today. Thanks her to write down something after my long, long and wonderful trip.更多精彩文章及讨论,请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net
